White belt questions

Everyone starts as a white belt. These are the questions asked most often before the first hero comes home.

About the heroes

Are Goo Jitzu and Heroes of Goo Jit Zu the same thing?

Yes. Heroes of Goo Jit Zu is the original name of the line; newer packs carry the shorter Goo Jitzu logo. The figures share the same stretchy build.

How far do the figures stretch?

Up to about three times their resting size. Pull from the solid hands and feet with a smooth motion, and release both ends together.

Do the figures need batteries?

Standard hero packs do not. A few large figures with lights and sounds, such as King Frostbite and Goo-Tron Supreme, include or require batteries; the listing states which.

How do I clean a sticky figure?

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, dry it, then dust lightly with cornflour to restore the smooth surface.

Is the filling safe?

The fillings are non-toxic, but they are not meant to be touched or swallowed. If a figure is punctured, throw it away and wash hands.

What is a versus pack?

Two rival heroes in one box, often with exclusive colours you cannot buy as singles. It is the natural pick for siblings.

What are Goo Jitzu Minis?

Pocket-sized heroes of about 2.5 inches with the same stretch and squish, sold in multipacks.

Why do some prices look high?

Older licensed heroes are out of production and sold by third-party sellers, so their prices float. Current-series packs sit close to the regular shelf price.

Can I buy directly from this site?

No. Each button opens the hero's listing at our partner store, which handles checkout, delivery and returns.
