How far does a Goo Jitzu stretch, and how to keep it stretching

Goo Jitzu heroes stretch to about three times their size. Here is how to stretch one properly, clean it and store it so it keeps snapping back.

How far does a Goo Jitzu stretch, and how to keep it stretching

Three times, give or take a cousin

The number on the box is 3x. A hero that stands five inches tall will reach about fifteen inches from fist to fist when two kids pull together. Some figures in the Stretch Strikers and stretch dinosaur packs are designed around the long pull and go further along one limb.

The right way to pull

  1. Grip the solid parts. Hands, feet and head are moulded for it. Pinching the thin middle of an arm puts all the strain in one spot.
  2. Pull smooth, not sharp. A steady pull moves the goo along the limb. A snap leaves it nowhere to go.
  3. Let go together. Release both ends and the hero settles back in a few seconds.

Keeping a hero in fighting shape

Wipe the skin with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then dry it. A light dusting of cornflour brings back the smooth feel if the surface turns tacky. Keep heroes away from radiators, hot cars and sharp pencils. Pets love them for the wrong reasons, so store them on a shelf rather than the floor.

When a hero is done

If the skin is punctured or the filling shows, the fight is over for that figure. Bin it, wash hands, and do not try to patch it. For a fault on arrival, the partner store you ordered from handles the replacement through its own order page.
